Stirring in a digester needs to be done to get a homogeneous substrate mixture with a small particle size. Stirring during the fermentation process also serves to prevent the occurrence of floating objects on the liquid surface and is useful for mixing methanogens with the substrate.

Stirring also provides uniform temperature and PH conditions in the biodigester and facilitates the release of gases produced by bacteria. Based on the importance of improving the quality of the biogas produced, a vertical digester mixer is offered as an option (optional) for each Biogas Digester Biophos_kkoGas scale of the reactor volume of 10 m3 to 200 m3.
